It seems like an obvious function that should be included. Is there a OBJ exporting script that works for Maya 2019? Or is there a way to do this using only the native Maya software?įor the life of me, I don't understand why this very basic function is not already included in Maya as part of the software. a new panel opens where you can upload your texture and decide how the uv will appear.Do the same for the elements if you have them. Before finishing check that all the little squares are blue indicating that they are live and visible. I can't seem to import the sequence into Maya to view it to see if the error might be with Element 3D. 2/ Go to the edit column near the preview panel and on the texture element choose diffuse and click on it. The nCloth object is animating, but it starts falling through space as soon as the animation begins (where the Maya nucleus start point is on timeline) when viewed in Element 3D. I'm wondering if it is because it says it supports Maya versions up to 2018. I've tried using some OBJ Sequence exporting scripts, and so far the only one of them (by CharlesWales on Highend3d ) seems to be even functional, however, it's producing a defective file sequence somehow. I'm not a programmer, so don't tell me I need to write a script. I'm trying to export a 3D animation from Maya 2019 (Please don't tell me I need to upgrade to a newer version, I can't) for use in Element 3D.
